Spray Foam

Homes with typical insulation lose money every month on energy – the truth is that most homes could be much better insulated. In fact, 25-40% of energy in a typical home is wasted because of improper insulation.

Spray Foam Insulation

WHAT IS SPRAY FOAM INSULATION?

Spray foam is the biggest innovation in the insulation industry since the introduction of fiberglass in the 1950s. Spray foam insulation is a type of polyurethane foam that is a combination of two liquids, isocyanine and polyol resin. When combined, they quickly expand to over 30 times the original volume, filling all gaps, crevices, and voids before curing into a durable, lightweight foam. Spray foam can fully insulate a home or building, as well as seal it from air and moisture infiltration, resulting in a more efficient structure with lower energy bills.

Better R-value means high energy saving – It makes complete thermal break. There won’t be any heat loss through the wall where spray foam is applied.

Fewer drafts and less air infiltration – Sprays foam seals gaps very easily as it expands to fill the shape and of the gaps. It seals entire building envelope and gives solid protection. Its air sealing properties is higher than other insulation products.

Better moisture control – More than 50% of heat loss happens due to moisture. Spray foam creates a barrier to stop moisture movement, which helps stop heat loss.

Better comfort and air quality – Air and moistures are essential food source for mold. Closed cell spray foam creates vapor barrier, it does stop the moisture movement. Sprays foam seals gaps very easily means no air movement. A safe, clean basement is the result and you can relax in your comfortable space knowing this.

Improved HVAC equipment efficiency and life – High R value insulation means lower heat loss, ultimately heating equipment doesn’t need to run continuously.

Increased structural strength with closed cell spray foam – Spray foam insulation known for its robust insulation properties; Closed-cell foam’s density also has another property: strength. When used for roofing applications, closed-cell foam is strong enough to walk on.
